Keys Gate Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school educating students in grades K-8 who reside in Florida. Located at 2000 SE 28 Avenue in Homestead, FL, we are currently accepting applications for grades K-8 for the 2017-2018 school year. Keys Gate Charter School is governed by Florida Charter Educational Foundation, Inc. and is a member of the Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) family of schools.

We are proud to announce that our high school has earned an A for 2025-2026 school year. With 68%, we are the highest ranked non-magnet school in Homestead! We are extremely proud of our students and staff for this momentous achievement. Keys Gate 9-12 has grown 19% in the past five years and we are only getting started!

Summer Learning 🌞
As we approach summer, we encourage families to support summer learning to help maintain and strengthen the skills students have worked hard to build over the course of this school year. Consistent practice over the summer can significantly improve retention and set students up for success in the upcoming school year.
Simple ways to support learning at home include daily reading, practicing math skills, engaging in educational games, and exploring real-world learning experiences such as writing, problem-solving, and creative projects. Below are a couple of free resources and our suggested reading list per grade level.

A special thank you to our amazing coaches, and athletic director for your commitment, leadership, and for making this event possible. Your impact goes far beyond the game.
To our seniors this was your final sports banquet, and what a journey it has been. Thank you for your leadership, passion, and the legacy you leave behind. You will always be a part of our Knight family, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you.
