Education programs are back! Teachers, get excited because this year our park rangers are visiting your classroom live from the Everglades!

For 30-45 minutes, a ranger will guide your students on a virtual expedition through the Everglades, delivering curriculum-based lessons while hiking, slogging, wildlife-watching, and more.

Happy ! People all over the world know the Everglades as the home of an extraordinary array of animals.

It's abundant wildlife includes recognizable and charismatic species like the American alligator, Florida panther, and Roseate Spoonbill, as well as more obscure (and endangered!) species such as the Cape Sable Seaside Sparrow and Florida Leafwing butterfly.

These animals and more all contribute to the richness of this ecosystem and help make it one of the planet's biodiversity hotspots.
