Originally from Holyoke, Greg & Nora Schmidt are raising their 3 beautiful children, Will (13), Patrick (11) and Maddie (7) in Southampton. They are active members of the Norris & Hampshire Regional school communities as well as the Southampton Youth Athletic Association and have done so much to give back to others throughout the years, never expecting or wanting anything in return. heir world was turned upside down when Maddie was diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer. Maddie underwent a biopsy at Boston Children's Hospital, six weeks of radiation at Baystate and will now proceed with a clinical trial through Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Maddie has handled all of this with grace and hope and inspires us all every day. She is joy and happiness and, in that spirit, we want to give her a day that represents all the light she brings to our world!
