This Sunday is our last with our beloved Rev. Dr. Mark Brewer before he and his lovely wife Carolyn return to their home in Colorado. It has been such a joy to have Mark with us as our interim Pastor, helping us prepare the way for the person God has planned for us. If you haven’t heard Mark preach yet, don’t miss this chance. Also, there will be a reception after the service with refreshments where we can have a chance to express to the Brewers how much they have meant to us, and celebrate the ways God has used them to shepherd this church through this interim season.

You’re invited! Bring family and friends to Mears Center this Friday night, 7-9pm Aug. 4, to celebrate ALL that God is doing in Hollywood — the beating heart of the world’s most culturally influential mission field. Come praise God with local and international leaders celebrating 22 years of Hollywood Prayer Network’s ministry that began as a ministry of our church, but has grown far beyond!

This week, The Library at FPCH is helping host Christian leaders from more than 65 cities around the world, here for Hollywood Prayer Network’s Global Chapter Directors Summit, on our church campus Wednesday thru Saturday. HPN now includes 170 Local Chapter Directors in 35 nations. They are creative professionals who are also prayerful intercessors for our city, for thousands of Christians who work in entertainment, for the media content and influences shaping global culture, and for the redeeming of lives in all walks of life.
