🐟 Best catch/memory aboard:  Favorite memory is catching a 61.47 lb King Mackerel in the 2022 Swansboro 5-0. We caught the fish before 9:30 am and tied up to the dock by 1 pm and waited for the scales to open. That fish would end up taking 1st place after finishing 2nd the year before.

Why you chose Onslow Bay:  My interest in getting an Onslow Bay started with its reputation and the way they look on the water. Once I was able to walk around one and take it on a sea trial, it honestly exceeded my expectations. What stood out to me was the fit and finish, but also the little things that make owning the boat easier. You can actually get to pumps, wiring, and other components without standing on your head, which matters when something eventually needs to be fixed. The livewells are well thought out, the layout fishes great, and the ride is what really sold me. I’ve been on a lot of boats in this size range, and the Onslow Bay handled rough water better than I expected while still feeling solid and dry. It just seemed like a boat that was designed by people who actually spend time offshore.
