Fitness is about goal setting, discipline, and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. Discomfort arises when you’re pushing through a set and your body wants to give up and you’re mind must become stronger. Discomfort arises when you need to make choices that benefit your long-term health rather than temporary short term pleasures. I’ve been challenging myself to eat more, train heavier, and gain some weight. It’s not just about accomplishing an aesthetic goal, it’s about honoring myself and doing what’s best for me. It’s training myself to move beyond self-perceived limitations. With that said, the glutes and hamstrings are growing baby!
