This year is special as it marks 20 years of adaptive paddling in Hawaii. We are grateful to Aka Hemmings for his vision and mission that created access and inclusion to the wa’a for adaptive paddlers in Hawaii. 

The competition has grown over the past 20 years and it is great to see athletes, pushing the limits of adaptive paddling in their communities.
