Not your typical nailfie… but it finally happened! My strips cracked. 😱

Now, why am I sharing this? 🤔 Because I want to be 100% transparent about what strips can look like after a week of rough, hands-on cleaning. But I also went to celebrate Color Street for how durable it can be in spite of me being absolutely careless with my nails. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have spent 5 days cleaning my new classroom! I moved in and got to scrubbing, ripping out staples from the boards, scratching off old labels and stickers on the cubbies, etc. I’ve probably used 100+ Clorox wipes, 4 scrubbers and tons of cleaning products this week. No, I did not wear gloves 🙈 I was ROUGH with my nails and this is what it looks like after all of that. Honestly, I’m impressed! 🙌🏼 There’s no way regular polish could’ve held up through all of that!

If you look at my ring finger… not a single crack! That also shows how much adding another layer can really strengthen the set! Plus, glitter overlays are so cute! ✨

This is a close-up but from far I bet people haven’t even noticed the cracks. It may crack, but our strips will never chip or flake off. They may wear down at the ends, but that’s about it.

I will def be applying glitters for my next set, as they’re way more durable, but I wanted to show this!

I apologize that I’ve been so busy and haven’t been taking nailfies and posting like I used to 😅, but I just had to come out of hiatus to share this little nailfie with Tokyo Lights from my bridal tea party today! 🍵🫖 I’m so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing women who help me to SHYNE! ✨
