Not once have I ever thought the line at Days too long to wait. I’m not alone, apparently

10pm at Days. Still killin’ it!

I have a friend with two 6/1 windows in Georgetown, Washington DC, that need restoration. Anyone nearby?

Just bought an old house and don't know where to begin? Restore or replace the windows? Keep the cedar siding or remove it for HardiPlank? What about the plaster walls? And how to choose paint colors?? You need to call the Old House Guy, Ken Roginski. He is deeply knowledgeable not just about restoration techniques, but about why one house looks wonderful and a similar house looks just so-so. We recently unstuck an 1880's window, did a small repair to the sash, re-roped and reinstalled the sash window and now it opens and closes like a dream. A small fix with a big payoff. http://youtu.be/QGWZAHmiCJs
