She is an avid dog lover and large supporter of the Highlands/Cashiers Humane Society as well as other Humane Societies throughout the country. She also supports too many non-profits to name! She is a true believer in giving back. Pat enjoys writing, and has done two cookbooks: Whisk Upon a Star and Mouth of the South. Her latest book: Hurdles in a Girdle...Holding Life Together When You're Bursting at the Seams was published by the same group that did Jack Canfield's books known for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series as well as the Success Principles. Jack endorsed Pat's book on the cover. Part of the profit is donated to Goalfriends a non-profit that helps women struggling to get back on their feet.
