Hey y'all,

Some of my favorite musical memories live in a room in Decatur.

Lindsay and I (and maybe some surprise guests) are coming back to Eddie’s Attic on July 11, and I’d love to see you there.

There’s just something about that room. From my first time taking that stage as a young man, songs come alive there more than anywhere else I’ve ever played. Maybe it’s the "shhhhhh...listen!" environment. Maybe it’s the history. Maybe it’s the weight of all those great writers who stood on that stage before me. Whatever it is, it always feels like coming home.

This one is shaping up to be a really special night. New songs, old songs, stories, laughter, and hopefully one of those evenings we all remember for a long time.

7PM • All Ages

All i've ever wanted to do is to play music, and you guys make that dream possible by coming to shows like this one. Tickets are on sale now, and I’d genuinely love to have you in the room.

See y’all at The Attic.

Mike

About a month ago I got to play The Frog Pond Sunday Social in Silverhill, AL. I had no idea the magical space I was stepping into. Everything about it was like a dream. I told I had never been anywhere like this. He laughed and said, “There ain’t anywhere like this!” Truer words have never been spoken.

Just found these shots from Tim Jackson’s Storyteller series in Defuniak Springs, FL. (This is the show where I was given the coin I carry around with me to every show now.) Unforgettbale night playing alongside the fantastic and the lovely .winter.
