So what IS hydrosol you ask?
Hydrosol is the aromatic, water-based byproduct generated during the steam or hydro-distillation of plant materials like flowers, leaves, bark, or roots. It contains the water-soluble compounds of the plant along with microscopic trace amounts of essential oils.
