Rodney G. Jones

5 years - the last 8 as Chief of Police. His hobbies include flying, camping, and cooking a variety of food on one of his several smokers. As a Christian, Rodney Jones is actively involved in his church and spiritual events in the area. Rodney is a proud Impact Partner of Family Friendly KSGN 89.7 radio. He takes pride in a number of 'handyman' improvements at his church and his been involved in numerous National Day of Prayer events over the last several years. He is also a member of the Rotary and has been involved in numerous community projects supporting those in need, including traveling to Mississippi four different times in the massive rebuilding effort following Hurricane Katrina.
