This morning’s harvest of Calendula and a few Marshmallow flowers 🌼 I’ll dehydrate them and use it throughout the year in my oil infusions and herbal creations. Calendula is by far my favorite herb. I just love the way it smells, and how soothing and healing it is. It’s also so beautiful!

I hope you're finding little ways to enjoy this beautiful (and very hot!) summer.

Around here, I've been taking life a little slower than usual. Both of my girls are home for summer break, and we've been stepping away from our normal routine to soak up these fleeting summer days together. We've been spending more time outside, making memories, and simply enjoying being together.

Because of that, I'm a little behind on soap production (thank you for your patience!), but the good news is that our tallow skincare and body care collections are fully stocked and ready to ship.

Our new DIY Swim Spray Kit makes it easy to create your own vitamin C spray that helps neutralize chlorine after swimming. Simply mix the included vitamin C powder with water in the reusable glass spray bottle, mist your skin and hair after swimming, and rinse or let it dry naturally.

It's a simple way to help reduce that dry, tight feeling chlorine can leave behind while caring for your skin all summer long.

Surviving the Heat Wave

If you're here in Michigan, you've probably been feeling this heat wave!

One product that's been getting a lot of use around our house is our Deodorant Cream. It's designed for more than just underarms—you can use it anywhere you'd like a little extra freshness, including underarms, under the bust, inner thighs, feet, or anywhere skin tends to get warm and sweaty.

Unlike many natural deodorants, ours is made without baking soda or aluminum, making it gentle for sensitive skin. Instead, arrowroot powder helps absorb moisture while magnesium helps create an environment that's less friendly to odor-causing bacteria.
