Just a friendly reminder when hiring a painter, please do your research before choosing the cheapest option or someone simply “looking for work.”

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of people advertising painting services with little to no experience, no insurance, and no understanding of proper prep work or professional standards. Painting may look easy, but a bad paint job can end up costing far more to fix later.

When hiring a contractor, always ask questions:
• Are they insured?
• Do they have references or previous work?
• Do they stand behind their work?
• Are they using the correct products and preparation methods?

Your home is one of your biggest investments. Make sure the person working on it treats it that way.

Not every wall has to be plain.
