🌟 Spirit Leader Spotlight 🌟

This week’s Spirit Leader Spotlight shines on our incredible Administrative Assistants — Ms. Taylor and Mrs. Kelly!

These two amazing ladies are truly the heart of Murphy’s front office. They keep everything running smoothly each and every day with their organization, dedication, and endless hard work. From greeting students, staff, and families with warm smiles to helping solve problems, answer questions, and keep our school organized, they do it all with kindness and grace.

Ms. Taylor and Mrs. Kelly are always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support, and make sure everyone feels welcomed and cared for. Their positivity, patience, and ability to juggle so many important tasks behind the scenes help make Murphy the special place it is.

We are so grateful for everything they do to support our students, staff, and school community every single day. Murphy simply wouldn’t be the same without them!

That’s what being a Spirit Leader is all about! 💛

This week’s Spirit Leader Spotlight shines on our incredible Special Areas Team — Mrs. Tisius, Coach K, Ms. Joyner, Ms. Deichman, and Ms. Clark!

These amazing educators bring so much creativity, energy, and excitement to Murphy each and every day. Through art, PE, library, music, and computers, they give our students opportunities to learn, grow, and shine in so many different ways.

They inspire creativity through art, encourage teamwork and healthy habits in PE, foster a love of reading and imagination in the library, fill our halls with joy through music, and help students build important technology skills for the future. Their lessons are engaging, meaningful, and often some of the most exciting parts of a student’s day.

Each one of them brings their own unique talents, passion, and dedication to our school. They help students discover new interests, build confidence, express themselves, and develop skills that will last a lifetime. Their positive energy and commitment make Murphy a brighter, stronger, and more well-rounded place for all of our students.

We are so thankful for everything they bring to our school community and for the countless ways they help our students succeed.

This week’s Spirit Leader Spotlight shines on our incredible 4th Grade Team — Ms. Schaefer, Ms. Skaggs, Ms. Hanewinkel, and Ms. Horral!

This amazing team is doing outstanding work, and it shows in their incredible student data and growth! Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence help students achieve great success each and every day.

They teach so many important and challenging math concepts, including multi-digit multiplication, long division, fractions, decimals, measurement, geometry, and problem-solving strategies. Through engaging lessons and high expectations, they help students build confidence as mathematicians and critical thinkers.

Beyond math, they also help students strengthen their reading, writing, and independence as they prepare for upper elementary success. Their classrooms are filled with encouragement, learning, and opportunities for students to challenge themselves and grow.

This week’s Spirit Leader Spotlight shines on our amazing ECC Team — Ms. Donya and Ms. Michelle!

These incredible early childhood teachers play such an important role in helping our youngest learners begin their school journey with confidence, curiosity, and joy. They create a warm, nurturing, and welcoming environment where students feel safe, loved, and excited to learn each day.

Through hands-on activities, patience, and encouragement, they help students build foundational skills like communication, social interaction, early literacy, problem-solving, and independence. They teach important life skills such as sharing, listening, following routines, and working together, all while making learning fun and meaningful.

Their kindness, dedication, and gentle guidance help shape the very beginning of each child’s educational experience, creating strong foundations for future success. Murphy is so lucky to have these two amazing educators helping our littlest learners grow and thrive.
