It's a big weekend for Bad Bunny fans! Gov. Gavin Newsom has now declared Super Bowl Sunday "Bad Bunny Day" in California ahead of his halftime performance in the Bay Area.

He made the announcement on X, where Newsom praised the Puerto Rican artist while also trolling President Donald Trump.

"As many people know, I am a tremendous lover of 'the Spanish.' It is a beautiful language spoken by many beautiful people in the great state of California and across the world. I am also a huge fan of Puerrrrrrrto Rico," Newsom wrote.
