Have you ever woken up to hands looking like this?
This is from touching your skin while your tan is developing. No spray tan artist is ever spraying the palms of your hands. When you leave your spray tan appointment avoid touching your face or any part of your body. I warn new clients that it tends to be a habit for them to want to touch their skin for whatever reason and to avoid this because it will stain the hands and it is impossible to get off. If you are sleeping with your spray tan on, I recommend sleeping in loose fitting clothing and SOCKS on your hands so that you don’t wake up with stained hands like this from sleeping with your hand on your face, on your chest, in between your thighs, or on your stomach etc.
We cannot control what happens with your tan once you leave our studio!!

If you do wake up with stained hands, try a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda or apple cider vinegar and baking soda and making it into a paste and massaging it into the palms of your hands several times a day to lighten it up.
