The vision of Prairie View High School is, "We will have a welcoming environment where students can experience academic success and prepare for post secondary education, the world of work and life's challenges. Students will receive the message, "You are important; You can do it; I will not give up on you". The mission of our counseling department is to support the PVHS Vision Statement by addressing the Academic, Career, and Personal Social needs of students through our guidance program.
REMINDER!! Community service is required to graduate. If you need hours, come to the counseling office for places to volunteer. Every student needs 5 hours for each year they are at PV. Please turn in your hours asap!!
City of Brighton is hosting their annual Festival of Lights on December 10th. They are needing volunteers to be elves. (Costume Provided) You will help carry banners in the parade and hand out candy and help with festival activities. You must sight up by November 23rd. All information is in the counseling office.
Are you interested in taking college colasses while still in high school?? If your answer is YES, and you are NOT already in the College Now! program, Join us for Information Night! It will start at 6PM on Wednesday, October 5thth in the PVHS auditorium.
