I wrote and scheduled this week’s Mission Moment on Saturday. Later that day, I received news that Pastor Gaspar Chablé’s mother-in-law, Estela’s mother, had passed away at the age of 94 at her home in San Pedro Amatlán.

I first met Doña Estela in 2010 when Adventures held our first camp with Pastor Gaspar and his family at the ranch in Oaxaca. She spent that entire week alongside her daughter, helping prepare meals for the campers and staff.
