Division C Toastmasters

Distinct 33 Division C awarded Division Governor of the year 2014-2015. Each Area of the six Areas were Distinguished or better, nearly all Areas added one club, and a significant number of clubs were Distinguished or better. I am proud to receive this award as Division Governor of the year but you all members of Division C, you earned this award. Congratulations to a great team! Let's work together to make Division C Presidents Distinguished for a second year in a row. Again congratulations to Toastmasters District 33 Division C!

December started off with Wyndham Harradise's kickoff meeting was December 8, December 30 the club chartered. They meet weekly, the club is closed to employees only. In the month they have been meeting I have seen great speakers developing. Most have given their Ice Breaker speech and some are on Project Two.
January 7 BDG Toastmasters had their kickoff meeting. They are building membership, currently at fifteen. They plan to charter in February.
We have several corporations considering having Toastmasters as part of their employee training program. If your employer has a training program to empower employees to communicate more effectively and gain leadership skills, let your human resources director know the value of bringing Toastmasters into their training program.

Workshop - International Speech - February 21, 2015. Flyer attached. The workshop on the International Speech will help you with all your motivational/persuasive speeches. If you are planning to participate in the contest, this will help you with your contest speech. I know everyone who attends will experience a growth in their speaking abilities.
