We are following our own advice and replacing the sheathing on the roof of our house. This is what they did in one day. Our house was built in 1996. It’s really important for you to remember to do this too. Many roots fall in when you have leaks due to time and weather and don’t replace the sheathing in a desert climate. Just a thought… the roofer said materials have been improved so much and they are lasting longer.
Did you know that even with tile roofs, the felt underneath the tiles only lasts so long, and will wear out, and can cause leaking and more? The felt should be checked and replaced as needed, or it can lead to mold growth, and even worse a non covered claim on your insurance due to wear and tear. Have your roof sheathing checked by a licensed roofer. Here in the Vegas heat, it doesn't last long.
