Spring Board Incubators

This summer, students in Drones for Change: Flight Mission South Bronx took STEM to the skies! They engineered drones to tackle pollution and food insecurity in the Bronx—designing aerial systems to track air quality and deliver produce from local food pantries.
From coding to flight missions, these innovators proved how technology can uplift entire communities. ✨

Bronx Tech & Engineering Program Summer 2025 at BBCN, taught by SpringBoard Incubators instructors:

Students stepped into the future of medicine + innovation. They designed wearable tech with Raspberry Pi + GSR sensors, coded prototypes that responded to stress and emotion in real time and developed educational games for their peers.

But that was just the beginning. 💡 Their final projects pushed the boundaries of STEM creativity—from drones tackling pollution and food sovereignty 🌱, to gamified tools for rehabilitation 🎮, to entrepreneurship powered by 3D printing 🖨️.

Our Print to Purpose innovators became true social entrepreneurs—using 3D printing and design thinking to create educational games that can be used to improve learning and coordination for middle and high school students.
Students sketched, prototyped, and pitched products with real-world impact. They didn’t just design for innovation—they designed for dignity, empathy, and community care.
