The Practice of Letting Go 🫳🔥
I am talking a Developing Emotional Maturity course with the incredible and Real LIFE Programs. In our practice session last week we explored identifying sensations in our bodies then naming the feeling they connect to. We then practiced letting go before we attached a story to them. We also practiced renaming the feeling. For example instead of ‘tired’ using ‘soft’ or ‘living fully’ and instead of ‘anxious’ using ‘full of care’.
The practice isn’t about “not feeling” but more about understanding the sensations and feelings in our body, then understanding the control that we have when it comes to how we feel and the stories we attached to our feelings.
I don’t know about you but I definitely can use some extra practice around “dropping it like it’s🔥” before I blow 🧨🌋🤯 things up in my life.
