Anybody can worship when the miracle happens. Real worship begins when nothing has changed yet.

Worship is not a reaction to a perfect atmosphere. Worship is a decision you make in the middle of an imperfect reality.

Scripture says, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1

At all times.

Not only when the breakthrough comes.

Not only when the money arrives.

Not only when the diagnosis changes.

Not only when the relationship is restored.

Paul and Silas did not wait for the prison doors to open before they praised. They worshiped while they were still chained.

Israel did not wait for the walls of Jericho to fall before they shouted. They praised while the walls were still standing.

That is faith.

Praise does not pretend the pain is not real. Praise declares that the pain is not greater than your God.

Your circumstances may affect your emotions, but they cannot change His character.

He is still faithful.

He is still holy.

He is still worthy.

Worship before you see it.

Worship while you are waiting.

Worship when everything around you says it is over.

Because sometimes your praise is not the response to the breakthrough.

Sometimes your praise is what carries you through it.

Worship anyway.
