Ales For Trails Projects = Funded ✅

We've got an exciting update on the trail funding front!

This year, Helena Ales For Trails raised $56,414.07 for new trails in the Helena Trail System. This week, we were able to allocate $58,000 towards the Scratchgravel Recreation Plan, to fund the completion of a 2.5 mile trail to the summit of Scratchgravel Peak, thanks to our friends 💪⛏. In addition, we were also able to allocate $5,000 towards the City for construction of a new connector trail on Mt. Ascension, connecting 2006 to Entertainment.

If you're with me and thinking, wait a second, that math doesn't add up, you'd be correct! We had some carry over from previous years that we were able to add on to this year's total, making the grand total 💲63,000. Very cool!

We cannot leave our friends out of this exciting announcement! Blackfoot River Brewing donated $7,000 towards the new connector trail on Mt. Ascension! In addition, Montana Bicycle Guild donated $4,000 towards the Scratchgravel Recreation Plan!

Our annual Helenduro mountain bike race is tomorrow, Saturday (6/28). MBG volunteers marked the course yesterday, and on Wednesday we posted notices with links to the course map at trailheads that lead towards the course. The course is shown below, and available on the Trailforks website. Mount Helena, the Helena Ridge, and Wakina Sky will be unaffected. You may see people out inspecting the course today. Please join us in welcoming visitors and showcasing our South Hills trail system.
