I don’t normally do sunrise sessions. Mostly because I’m running early in the mornings, so I lean towards sunset.

But dang! These two and these colors the other morning were 100% worth the early wake up.

I still have availability for some engagement sessions and such this fall. Maybe even a sunrise or two. 😉😌

2023 was a year full of so many different things. The busyness of life and photography stopped me from showing up on here so many times.

I had many amazing clients. I didn’t post so many amazing times with you all. I probably never will get caught up and I’m leaning into being ok with that.

For years I put so much focus on this platform that it started to take away from my everyday life with my family. With not thinking about showing up on here over the last year, it gave me freedom to think more about my family and to be with them.

Did I lose out on gaining clients, followers and more. Probably, but in the end I showed up more for those I love and still had great client experiences.

It’s not all about constantly putting yourself out here on this app. It’s about showing up for those you love and being the best you can be for your clients.

I don’t know what 2024 will hold for me and showing up on here. Maybe I’ll get back into it more. Maybe I won’t. And that’s ok.

How are you choosing to deal with this app?

Because I’ve put off posting basically all my sessions and weddings this year, I’ll give you this one.

My twin got married one week ago! Maybe I’ll get around to sharing all my thoughts (good thoughts).
