The Spirit of 1776 was alive and well on Eden Isle this morning as once again our members and residents put on a real show for the our 4th of July golf cart parade competition! Judges Rex and Melissa Nelson were blown away with each carts creativity! They said it was really hard to choose winners but here they are and Dylan got to give away a special Grand Marshal’s Trophy for the cart with the most SPIRIT! Thank you to all of the participants, Rex and Melissa for judging plus David and Dylan for steering the parade!
Best cart using theme was-1st place White Family; 2nd place Pike Family;3rd place-Carter Family.
Best Historical Re-Enactment-1st place- Schuchard Family; 2nd place-Crosby Family; 3rd place Spain Family.
Best Historical Figure-1st place-Dow Family; 2nd Place Otten Family; 3rd place-Jones Family.
Best Historical Costume-1st place Wright Family; 2nd place-Proctor Family; 3rd place-Douglas Family.
Judges Choice went to the Ginger White Family.
Dylan gave his award to Keith Hendrix. Congratulations to everyone!
