Brent Hull had the honor of escorting veteran, Ivory Goodrum on an honor flight to visit Washington, DC. Several members of the CCA community sent letters, cards, posters, notes and bracelets to deliver to him. Ivory started to cry during mail call because of the overwhelming love and spent all night reading the many words of encouragement he received. Thank you to all CCA staff and students for honoring this special veteran. Veteran's Day should be EVERYDAY! 🫡
Nothing says fun quite like a brand new jungle gym.
We are beyond excited to share that our CCA kids officially have a new play structure to climb, conquer, and claim as their own. Rope ladders, pyramid climbs, and all the room they need to run and play during recess.
But here is the part that makes this play structure extra special. It was built by hand, by people who love these kids. A massive thank you to the volunteers, staff, and teachers who showed up with tools, time, and heart to make this happen. You're the best!
This is what community looks like at CCA. Hands working together, building something bigger than themselves, all for the joy of a child. We are so grateful.
