Creation of the Soul!

The AIRR Tech Team breathed new life into a favourite web page on the Creation of the Soul, which describes how life-essence, spirits, or souls are thought to come into existence. Does the soul come from nothing, from chaos, from mud, from dirt, from water, or from air? Is it inherent or given to us by our gods? Read and find out what the various religions of the world have to say! Miss Michaele wrote the page with contributions by Catherine Yronwode. Catherine edited the text, then Papa Newt and Nagasiva Yronwode did proofreading. Graphics by Teotarras, AGSAndrew, Wolfram Freudling et al, Rod Waddington, Tolokonov, and Unknown Artists were sourced and photo-edited by Michaele, Catherine, and Nagasiva, and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. The Soul!

The AIRR Tech Team formed a circle and held hands in somber contemplation of the newly-updated web page on the Soul, an immortal, intangible essence of a living being. This concept exists in the vast majority of religious and folk magical traditions all over the world, and although some maintain that humans are unique in having a soul, other believe that animals, plants, and even geographical features also have them. Catherine Yronwode and Miss Michaele wrote the page with contributions by Papa Newt and Nagasiva Yronwode. Catherine, Nagasiva, and Miss Michaele sourced the images. Catherine edited the text, Papa Newt did site-wide linking, and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. Check out our transcendental page on The Soul!
