Good morning friends and neighbors. We wanted to remind you that while it is cold outside you will want to make sure not just to bundle yourself up but to make sure your pipes, filtration and pump house are kept above freezing. Stay safe and stay warm.

It's still early as it is looking like we need a whole lot more snow in the mountains to make up our snow pack.

Here is this week's SWE map, the first of the year. Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) is a common snowpack measurement representing the amount of water contained within snowpack. We hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas. If you made it through the snow, rain and flash freezing without a problem that is fantastic. If you were caught off guard, pipes not covered or no heat in your pump house and you are now fighting to get your water on. Please give us a call we are to help.

2025 Snowpack didn't necessarily equal good runoff and we have all been seeing that. By the end of Summer our phones were ringing like crazy with wells that had little or no water. It looks like we might be starting off the 2026 year with better results. These gray dreary Fall days of clouds and rain are what we need to get that early mountain saturation before the snows come.
