We spend hours learning how to drive, we have drive ed classes to prepare us on the realities of driving a vehicle. Well EFS DS/A workshops is a young persons “drivers ed” into the possibilities of what can happen when a person is hanging out with friends and or a friend." I am not here to tell someone whom they should date, when or even if they should date. I am going under the reality that they will be in situations that with the they can learn to control with the right skills. The fact is you never know when they will be at risk. The goal is to empower them with the tools to safely drive through this sometimes rough terrain that is dating and socializing. This is not just a self defense course, though we will be covering some physical techniques/ tactics that can be used depending on the situation. The main goal of this workshop is to make one aware of one's boundaries and setting limits. One will learn how situations can change and implement some appropriate verbal and physical responses when boundaries are not being respected. This is not a s*x ed class in the same way that a Driver's Ed class does not teach you about how engines work. Our goal is to have a honest discussion of what could possibly transpire during an outing with friends. How do we establish healthy boundaries? I am here to empower people
on how to keep themselves safe. I just want YOU to be in charge. EFS BP workshops are designed to empower youths and young adults
