🐾 Service Animal vs. Emotional Support Animal 🐾
A Service Animal is trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability and is protected under the ADA.
An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) provides comfort and companionship but is not trained to perform disability-related tasks and is not considered a service animal under the ADA.
✈️ Traveling? Most airlines treat ESAs as pets, while trained service dogs may qualify for special accommodations.
