Customer called us for an Emergency Roadside Assist because he was put Out of Service at the DOT Station, this was a Semi Truck and Trailer mind you lol. The trailer had a leaking wheel seal on a Corn Husker 800, mind you we are not typically equipped for Heavy Duty vehicles but this guy didn't have much for options given harvest season. So we took on the task to replace this wheel seal.

A big shout out to Napa, Diesel Doctor and O'Reilly's for the assistance and supplies we needed to get the job done for this guy.

It was the hottest day of the month reaching upwards of 110 °F at that DOT Station. Five hours later we were able to get this trucker back on the road and the driver was very very happy to get back on the road.

This customer called to see why his engine was leaking fluids and barely running and potentially overheating. We found the cylinder 1 cylinder was rusted out somehow, and pitting on cylinder 4. Compression Test showed 0 on cylinder 1, 40 to 49 on the other 3 cylinders which tells us the engine is in need of some help.

We'll have an update later.

2001 Dodge Dakota, 4.7L V8. This customer had just her truck from Havre Ford with a misfire, they said it may need a tune up. Three days in, she has replace the spark plugs and coil boots for the tune up but the engine still kept misfiring, another couple of days later she calls us up because her engine started over heating, and found that be the thermostat housing damn fell off, one of the bolts was even holding it because someone stripped the crap out it, while the other was barely in. The thermostat housing wad literally held together with red rtv cone. Front driveshaft was beyond shot and more wrong with the vehicle. "Certified Pre-Own" they told her. After further investigation into the misfire, we found on cylinder 8 actually had a busted piston and debris was actually floating around piston pounding everything in that cylinder so she will either need an in the vehicle engine over haul with a new piston and head or new engine. Either way Ford refused to her after one week of owning the vehicle. Everyone else she took this truck to said it just needed head gaskets?

Vehicle has not been repaired yet.
