We are honored to introduce our 2026 Juell Kadet Promise of Hope Fashion Show featured patient, Sonya.

Sonya was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in October 2024 following a routine screening. Through her journey, she has received care at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial, including participation in a clinical trial that helped improve her quality of life and reduce treatment side effects. After undergoing treatment and surgery, Sonya continues to move forward with strength, resilience, and hope.

Her story is a powerful reminder of the impact of access to innovative care and compassionate support.
