Been working on some upgrades to our flat pack grill.
Made it a little bigger. Also adding a catch pan to contain the ash and embers that fall from the air vents in the bottom.
And a flat top.
Let me know what you think. Should have this cut out and fired up Monday.
Check back in for an update video.

🔥 Rocket Heater Prototype Update — Might as Well Customize It for Myself 😂🔥
Since this one is my prototype, I figured I might as well go ahead and customize it for me — and also show what’s possible if anyone wants one built for their home, shop, farm, or business.
What you’re seeing in these pics is my first full mock-up of the 77 Steel Rocket Heater / Stove:
🔧 Prototype Features So Far
Heavy-gauge steel base
Precision laser-cut parts
Fully welded burn chamber & riser
Custom top hood
My personal touches — including Psalm 144:1–2 and 1 Corinthians 10:31 cut into the upright
🎨 Why Not Customize It?
Since this one is mine, I went ahead and added:
Laser-cut scripture
Custom logo
Multi-color accents
A few design upgrades just because I could 😄
💡 Gives You Ideas for YOUR Build
If you want one of these down the road, you’ll be able to pick:
Custom scripture, quotes, or branding
Company name or logo
Different hood and base styles
Color schemes / powder coat
Functional add-ons (side warmers, cook top, air-flow upgrades, etc.)
This is still early, but it’s coming together clean. Once I fire it up and test the burn, I’ll know if anything needs tweaking.
Let me know what you think — and if you want yours customized, now you’ve got a few ideas!
🔥👨🏭
Working on finishing up this pellet rocket stove / heater design.
Going to make where you can customize the heat shields with names, logos, colors.
The plan is to have it break down for easy storage and to be able to take the stack off and use it to cook on. The goal being able to use it year-round. Stay warm in the winter and take it camping to cook on in the summer.
Yall let me know what your think.
