Behind every moment of inspiration is a visionary who gives with purpose.

The Connecticut Science Center is honored to celebrate Richard Gray, whose generosity and leadership helped turn curiosity into discovery and imagination into opportunity. This commitment to science, education, and our community creates pathways for young minds to explore, question, and dream bigger.

Because of visionary leadership like this, the spark of possibility burns brighter—today and for generations to come. Together, we are lighting the way toward a future shaped by wonder, learning, and innovation.

🌿The wait is over—KidSpace Outdoors opens this Saturday, June 20! 🌿

Designed especially for our youngest scientists, ages 6 and under, KidSpace Outdoors is a brand-new nature-inspired play experience where curiosity, exploration, and discovery come to life.

This is more than a playground—it’s an outdoor laboratory for exploration. Young learners can climb through a towering nature-themed play structure, crawl and climb through a giant interactive bee hive, explore butterfly and pollinator habitats, stroll along a sensory nature boardwalk, create music outdoors, and engage with hands-on STEM experiences inspired by Connecticut’s natural world.

This exciting new outdoor extension doubles the size of our existing KidSpace outdoor experience, creating even more opportunities for young learners to play, imagine, investigate, and discover something new with every visit.

Join us this Saturday (or on Sunday for Father’s Day) and be among the first to experience KidSpace Outdoors. We can’t wait to welcome you outside! ☀️
