** Join us at the International Franchise Association’s Annual Prayer Breakfast **

If you are attending the IFA’s 2024 Convention in Phoenix, please join us at the Annual Prayer Breakfast that will be held on Sunday, February 18th from 6:30AM to 7:45AM at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix in the Valley of the Sun, Rooms A-E. Breakfast will be available starting at 6:00AM.

The Annual Prayer Breakfast is a non-denominational event and a wonderful way to start your day with music, reflection, inspirational speakers, and food for both body and mind. It also gives you the opportunity to network with others of faith in a very relaxed setting. Attendance is free and pre-registration is requested. If you are not already registered, please visit the Onsite Registration Desk for more information. There will be limited seating available to those who have not registered in advance.

Michael Seid, Managing Director of MSA Worldwide, will be this year’s Keynote Speaker.

Michael and his wife Susan were driving in the Negev, close to Gaza, on the morning of October 7th, as rocket plumes went over their car. He will be discussing what occurred during and after the massacre, a history of the conflict, and his thoughts on antisemitism and its impact on American society.

Of course it’s a top priority to do a complete review of their finances, previous business experience, and education. But, do you consider these additional attributes?
* What skill sets will they contribute to your existing franchise organization?
* What reputation do they hold in their community?
* If they already own a business, review it to examine the cleanliness of the premises, employee morale, reputation in the community, past marketing campaigns, plus past and ongoing contributions to the community via sponsorships of little league teams, high school fundraising, etc.
* If it’s a franchised business, what’s their relationship with their existing franchisor?

If your franchise will be their first business, inquire about:
* Their understanding of working with and hiring teenagers, who are typically minimum waged employees (if these are the typical employees of the business)
* Their thoughts about representing the brand in their community -- becoming “the face of the brand.”
* Their intended participation at local fund-raising events, charities, Chamber of Commerce and/or Rotary Club events.
