My cardigan is complete! I’m so proud of it, this truly is a labor of love ❤️
I’m already getting compliments on it when I go out. It’s a shame it’s getting warmer so I won’t get to wear it as much as I want to, but this is now one of my favorite items of clothing!

I’m in the assembly stage of this granny square project I’ve been working on. I hope it’s going to be as cute as I’m imagining it!

The cozy days daisy blanket is complete! I am not a fan of the final parts of a project: the assembly, sewing, weaving, blocking, and bordering. But this blanket was actually really fun to put together! It’s such a beautiful, modern design and so cozy too!

I made a little purse!
🧶I used a free pattern by Wan at Knitcroaddict to make the granny squares, and did a couple extra rows of HDC and then SC for more stability.
🧶I crocheted the liner with an in-seam pocket, contrasted with blue. I single crocheted all round the edges to combine the layers.
🧶 For the strap, I used the two strand method with a thermal stitch. The strap is adjustable, you simply pull it through the loop on the bag and tie it wherever is most comfortable.
This bag is super cute and unique, and I’m pretty proud of it!

🧶 Did you know that crocheting by itself is only part of the process of creating a crocheted item?
🧶 Blocking is the process of stretching a completed project into a square and flat shape and wetting the yarn to help the project conform into the desired shape and size.
🧶 This process helps items such as blankets, cardigans, and bags lay flat. In cases where multiple pieces are used, as granny squares, it helps the many pieces flow together as one piece of fabric.
