Third in a series...
So, you’re selling your home and you have a signed contract on it. The buyer wants to have it inspected. Here is a helpful tip to make the process go smoother for everyone involved: Let’s talk about pets. Just because your 110 pound Fido is sweet and cuddly to you and your family doesn’t mean he’ll be sweet and cuddly to a stranger coming through the door or into your backyard when you are not home. I have had to reschedule. Also, if your indoor pet likes to dart out the door and run off, you might want to confine them some way just for a few hours. Had a deaf dog dart out of a fenced backyard once. Couldn’t call that dog and he didn’t know sign language. Stay tuned.

Here is a helpful tip to make the process go smoother for everyone involved: Make sure that the inspector can see all the plumbing underneath your kitchen sink and bathroom vanity. I have moved towels, hair dryers, lotions and potions to inspect the plumbing. However, I’m not always comfortable doing it.
