Making All the Things

Two of Jaclyn’s very best friends got married this weekend and she made this Fat Quarter Shop School Spirit quilt for the couple in Texas Tech colors because they reconnected at TTU in 2016. They absolutely loved it and we wish them all the happiness in the world!

Jaclyn has done some traveling this week and made gifts for those she stayed with. A beautiful Buffalo check in the All Hallows’ Eve fabric and a Fabric Cafe 3 yard quilt for a Star Wars fan!

Jaclyn made this blanket and bear for a couple friends in Texas who are about to welcome their first baby very soon! They love St. Louis Cardinals baseball just like Jaclyn so she was so happy to make them these gifts!

We finished these 3 quilts recently for friends of Jaclyn who sent her home with tshirts when she moved. We love looking at shirts from other places to see what people were involved in! The recipients loved them so much!

We’ve said a lot that we learn new things each quilt, and we learned a few weeks ago it’s MUCH easier to cut shirts down using a large cutting ruler. The latest quilts we’re making are both kings and we have almost 100 items to cut out. With the square, it’s taken 2 half days to get them all cut!
