We are excited that you’ve taken interest in becoming a member of the African-American Student Association where we remember our past to forge toward our future. We have structure this organization on the teachings of Sankofa. That is, we should reach back and gather the best of what our past has to teach us, so that we can achieve our full potential as we move forward. What ever we have lost, forgotten, forgone or been stripped of, can be reclaimed, revived, preserved and perpetuated.
