Today, we are thrilled to feature the wonderful Mrs. Maharaj, one of our amazing 2nd Grade Teachers—pictured here at the airport terminal alongside her beautiful family! 🛫✨

Mrs. Maharaj brings a wonderful global perspective and so much heart to our second-grade hallways. Originally from Trinidad, she frequently travels back and forth to visit her loved ones. In fact, when it comes to breaking world records, she is pretty sure she takes the crown for navigating the long flights between North Carolina and Trinidad & Tobago! 🇹🇹🏝️ Naturally, she is a huge fan of the Trinidad Knight Riders cricket team! 🏏🔥

If she could travel back in time, she would slide right into the 1960s for the legendary music and a very "special someone." 🤭❤️ Her wisdom to her younger self is a message every young Cowboy needs to hear: “Be brave and confident, you’ve got what it takes!” 💪🌟 (And if you ever want to make her day, a plate of nachos will always do the trick!) 🌮🧀
