Calvary Kids

This morning 3-6th graders assembled school packs. These packs are going to Batey 35 School in the Dominican Republic. These packs will be hand delivered in 27 days by me, Hannah Greene. It was so fun to see these kids assembles these and hear some stories about Dominican life and the schools there. The majority of these items were donated, which is awesome! So exciting to see God work in the lives of these kids.

Last week we had our Cubbies Drive in Movie Theatre. This is such a fun night for kids as they can create a car, with parents help, and then bring it to club and have a movie night while eating yummy snacks. This event is enjoyed by all!

Tonight Sparkies went on an adventure around the church and interacted with people from the nativity. Teens graciously dressed, acted, and read the part. Kids met Elizabeth, the Inn Keeper, Mary and Joseph, a Shepherd, King Herod, and a Wise Man. We learned about how it was a far journey that many people went on to make Jesus birth happen and come true. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you teens!

Last night kids had an awesome time Shining for Jesus! During Bible time kids learned what it looks and means to shine for Jesus. During game time we had so much fun playing glow in the dark games. Thank you Kenny for providing fun for the kids!

This Wednesday, the 19th is the last day to drop off canned goods to donate to Adopt-A-Family. We are a little less than 300 away from our goal! If we hit our goal of 700 we get an ice cream party night!
