As the hard working pollinators settle in for a long winter's nap, with visions of fresh blossoms on all of their minds...
We want to take minute to wish all of our supporters a very
Bee-U-Tiful Holiday Season filled with love, laughter, and treasured traditions.
We look forward to another year of un-bee-lievable adventures and lasting partnerships.
With love from our team to yours, happy holidays!

Bumble Bees are the most efficient pollinators of potatoes!
Potato plants hide their pollen deep inside, making it impossible for most pollinators to access.
Bumble bees latch onto the outside of the flower, beat their mighty wings, and shake out the pollen through a process known as buzz pollination.
Think you can keep up with a hungry bumble bee? While buzz pollinating a bumble bee can flap their wings up to 500 beats per second!

Each year roughly 1.5 billion pounds of pumpkin are produced in the U.S.!
Fall is a great time for everything pumpkin and pumpkin spice. We can't enjoy pumpkins without being thankful for the powerful pumpkin pollinators!

Pumpkins don't make it easy for the honey bees, bumble bees, squash bees, and other solitary bees; their blooms are only open for a matter of hours! This means pollinators have to "bee" ready to dash in quickly.
