US Federal Regulators OK Apple Request to Sell Power Apple Inc., which spent $850 million last year on a 130-MW solar farm near San Francisco, can begin selling power into wholesale markets in the latest foray by a technology company into the energy business.

This is great news to see this type of collaboration and movement towards renewables. Although some of the material is in reference to simple reduction of power, this has huge potential to shift us towards shared renewable energy fast.
