In fact, this country has the lowest life expectancy and highest infant mortality rate in all of Central America. Malnutrition among Guatemalan children is extremely high – among the worst in the world. We take volunteer teams in twice annually to a remote jungle area of northern Guatemala. There we provide humanitarian assistance in the area of education, health and sanitation. Our travelers are all self-funded, so 100% of all money raised goes directly to the project.
