"Update: Day 8 without heat. Got an estimate for almost $7,000 to replace our furnace. Ugh.

Our home warranty company denied the first two estimates ($1800 total) to replace the control board and secondary heat exchanger. Ugh!

Frustrated, I called my husband to relay the bad news about the denial of the repairs. He was out of state at the time, but calmly asked, 'What did the attorneys say?' I told him I hadn't called yet. He laughed and said 'Call them and forget about it. It will work out.'
