A New Blueprint for Return: ACC Rolls Out Phased 'Home Station' Reintegration Strategy Recognizing that the return from a deployment is just the beginning of a new mission, Air Combat Command is introducing a comprehensive framework to strengthen home station reintegration.

Air Combat Command’s elite maintainers and operators proved that readiness is our absolute foundation during a flawless real-world rescue mission near Creech Air Force Base. When an F-35 pilot was forced to eject, the 355th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 34th Weapons Squadron immediately mobilized to launch rescue helicopters from a non-alert posture in under thirty minutes.

This rapid response was made possible by the incredible synergy between the flightline crews and the Rescue Operations Center as they synchronized multiple agencies to bring our wingman home safely.
