Hampton University Museum

The museum's collection features over 9,000 objects including African American fine arts, traditional African, Native American, Hawaiian, Pacific Island, and Asian art; and objects relating to the history of the University. Larger than any other museum in the country, is Hampton's collection of works from renowned African American artists such as John Biggers, Elizabeth Catlett, Jacob Lawrence, Richmond Barthé, and Samella Lewis.
